Director, Sales and Marketing Analytics


The Director, Sales and Marketing Operations will lead a team responsible for reporting and analysis to track and drive Sales and Marketing effectiveness, building compensation and territory models to align with budgets and achieve organizational targets, and executing the sales commission process.  This role will regularly conduct analysis to inform leadership decision-making and provide visibility into progress on executive and board-level priorities.

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Sales and Marketing Operations, but will also work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and other members of the Executive Team.


  • Build and execute a regular cadence of reporting to track sales and marketing effectiveness and drive improvements
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of the monthly sales commission process
  • Create and manage the process to intake, prioritize and deliver reporting to executives and stakeholders across the business
  • Lead analysis to build compensation models that align to organizational budgets and drive attainment of company and business unit targets
  • Lead analysis of geographic, industry segment and product level opportunity to determine effective territory divisions
  • Provide regular coaching, support, and feedback to develop analytics team members and ensure successful execution of all team functions
  • Align team priorities, roles and OKRs to deliver outcomes aligned to corporate and Revenue Org priorities
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations team members and and cross-functional partners to determine solutions and support organizational priorities and projects
  • Become an expert in and inform changes to DealerSocket data structures
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality while working with highly sensitive data
  • Actively model and champion DealerSocket core values


  • 7+ years’ experience in sales and/or marketing analytics roles
  • Proven success building and implementing programs to track and drive sales and marketing effectiveness
  • Experience leading reporting activities in an enterprise SaaS software sales environment
  • Expertise in sales and marketing effectiveness metrics
  • Expertise in data analytics methodologies
  • Experience designing sales compensation models
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and experience working with BI tools and Salesforce data
  • Experience building high-performing teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build productive relationships with sales and marketing team members, executives, and cross-functional partners
  • Willingness to travel 25% or more as needed
