Position Summary

DealerSocket  is looking for a Product Owner to join our Product team and contribute to our mission to building the best in class DMS. As our next Product Owner, you will work with colleagues across product, marketing, design, analytics, and engineering to identify opportunities to build innovative features, grow revenues, and make regular improvements in our product. 

Responsibilities

  • Gather feedback from clients, support teams, executives, UI/UX and development teams to define requirements that will deliver innovative and delightful solutions to clients’ biggest problems
  • Write actionable user stories that have clear acceptance criteria and are broken down into the smallest valuable increments
  • Prioritize the product backlog to best achieve key business outcomes
  • Train internal stakeholders on new products and features
  • Remain current on Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Communicate completed features, bugs and issues to stakeholders and the VP, Product
  • Communicates product vision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with identifying business requirements and implementing new solutions and substantial system enhancements
  • 2+ years of experience operating in a Product Owner capacity within an Agile team
  • Experience in automotive is a plus
  • Experience working with a Scrum team in an Agile development environment
  • Experience writing product specifications
  • Self-starter relating to tasks, requests, and documentation
  • Experience managing product roadmap and communicating decisions to leadership
  • Team player with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others
  •  IRA AND SalesForce experience
