Byron McDuffee

Chief Operating Officer

Byron McDuffee is a Global Strategy, Marketing, and Operating executive with a more than 25-year distinguished career. He has developed and executed strategic growth platforms that produced market leadership with customers and outstanding financial performance. Leveraging his excellent leadership skills with strong business acumen and a solid technology foundation through startup and/or reengineering underperforming business operations and navigating companies through complex change.

Byron has a deep understanding of how markets work and how to create value for customers, employees, and shareholders. By creating a culture and environment for success, he has led organizations through startup, growth acceleration, and turnaround situations.

Byron joined DealerSocket in November 2020 to oversee customer delivery, customer success and technical support, strategy and corporate development, vendor management, and enterprise program management office and information systems.

Prior to DealerSocket, Byron led Equifax’s automotive division with full P&L responsibility. There Byron created a new growth strategy and formed strategic partnerships that led to record-breaking new business bookings and profitability while significantly raising the division’s eNPS score. Byron was also the senior executive responsible for Equifax’s companywide “Customer First” program, which consisted of four key initiatives: Customer Experience, Customer Value Realization, High-Performance Sales, and Innovation.

Prior to Equifax, Byron served as Vice President at ADP and CDK Global, where he was in charge of the company’s Global Strategy and Corporate Ventures Group in addition to general management roles during his 19-year tenure. Byron also led the optimization of global business and product portfolios and simplified ‘go to market’ strategy, pricing, commercialization, and ‘quote to cash’ workflows.

Byron graduated from North Central College in Naperville, Ill., with a degree in Marketing and an emphasis on Computer Science.
